.@AlisonForKY continues to remain silent on issues facing Kentucky women...including legislative staffers. #KYSEN
Today, the Legislative Ethics Commission in Kentucky convened to discuss the sexual harassment allegations involving former State House Representative John Arnold. Despite the fact that Alison Lundergan Grimes’ campaign has publicly echoed the Obama administration’s misleading rhetoric on women’s issues today, Grimes has yet to comment on the proceedings involving the Kentucky women affected in her own building.
Kentucky GOP spokeswoman Kelsey Cooper released the following statement today in response to Alison Lundergan Grimes’ continued use of gender as a political ploy:
“What’s become increasingly apparent in this campaign, is that Alison Lundergan Grimes only likes to talk about standing up for Kentucky women when it’s politically convenient for her. Instead of blindly parroting whatever talking points are disseminated by the Obama White House or her liberal Democrat allies, perhaps Grimes could start talking about the real issues that affect women, like the devastating effects of ObamaCare, or finally speak up about the sexual harassment of women that work in her own building. Kentucky women deserve better than someone who uses gender as a political ploy.”
