House Democrats’ misplaced priorities: all play, no work

House Democrat leaders have decided to manipulate Tuesday’s previously scheduled committee meetings so House Democrats can attend Alison Lundergan Grimes’ campaign rally with Bill Clinton.

In response to House Democrats’ decision to prioritize a campaign rally over the people’s work, Republican Party of Kentucky Chairman Steve Robertson released the following statement:

“House Democrats’ decision to reschedule previously scheduled committee meetings so they may attend a political rally is just another example of their misplaced priorities,” said Republican Party of Kentucky Chairman Steve Robertson. “Even Nancy Pelosi wouldn’t have pulled this kind of overtly political stunt. Kentucky deserves better. House Democrats’ decision to prioritize a political rally over what they were elected to do – the people’s work – is one more reason Kentuckians should vote to flip the House in 2014.”
