Ryan Quarles grew up on his family’s farm in Scott County where he learned the lessons every farm kid does about hard work and self-reliance. He grew crops to pay for college, graduated from the University of Kentucky’s College of Agriculture, and now serves the people of District 62 in the Kentucky House of Representatives, where he is a strong voice for agriculture, fiscal responsibility and fighting out-of-control federal regulators.

As Agriculture Commissioner, he will fight for farmers in Frankfort, expand and strengthen the successful Kentucky Proud program, run an efficient, transparent Department, expand and protect farmers access to international markets, promote agriculture education in our schools and fight President Obama’s EPA and other regulators who seek control over family farming practices.
