What would you ask @AlisonForKY? @KYGOP launches "Ask Alison" Tumblr - http://kyasksalison.tumblr.com/. #KYSEN #KyAsksAlison
Alison Lundergan Grimes rarely answers questions, but when she finally does, her answers are awkward, confusing, and sometimes incomprehensible. A recent analysis from a Kentucky reporter described it as follows:
“On the major issues, Grimes has either been missing or firing off press releases that require both multiple readings and multiple head scratches.” (Daily Beast, 11/30/13)
Alison wants Kentuckians to elect her to the Senate, but they deserve better than her cryptic, non-answer answers and the confusing, scripted statements blasted out from her campaign.
The Republican Party of Kentucky has launched a new Tumblr – Ask Alison – to provide Kentuckians with a central means to ask Alison questions they want answered.
To shed light on the lack of coherent answers from the Grimes campaign and to encourage Alison to start being clear with Kentuckians, each week “Ask Alison” will select several questions to post on Tumblr. The Republican Party of Kentucky will post questions submitted through social media and email and may post its own questions, particularly those relevant to the news of the day. Users can either tweet to @KYGOP using the hashtag #KyAsksAlison, respond to RPK’s Facebook posts, or email us through the contact page on RPK’s website.
With Alison Lundergan Grimes largely inaccessible to the public and the Kentucky press corps, RPK wants to give Kentuckians the opportunity to have their voices heard. RPK launches “Ask Alison” to provide Kentuckians a venue to publicly pose their questions to Alison Lundergan Grimes, because Kentuckians deserve answers.
