Yesterday was reported that Alison Lundergan Grimes will be featured at the Democracy Alliance’s “Spring Investment Conference,” which has been described as “a coming out party of sorts for the group’s progressives.”
“Panels will focus on elevating progressive issues like income inequality, climate change, drug reform, gun control, abortion rights and the death penalty.” (POLITICO, 4/24/14)
Grimes has continually struggled to take a solid position on most of the issues facing Kentuckians and our nation. And of the few issues where she’s attempted to take a stance, the opposing views of her liberal donor base have called those stances into question. (See: COAL & GUNS).
Kentuckians are beginning to see the clear picture in this race: Alison Lundergan Grimes will be nothing more than a rubber-stamp for the Barack Obama and Harry Reid agenda if elected to the senate. Her campaign is bankrolled by Hollywood’s liberal elite and the Democrat party’s most radical left-wingers, she was recruited to run by Harry Reid himself, and when it comes to the issues, she’d rather opt for silence than tell Kentuckians that she actually stands with the Obama Democrats and Hollywood liberals backing her campaign.
