The national and local headlines are increasing daily, and the resounding message is: Every American is Feeling the Cost of ObamaCare. ObamaCare is killing jobs across the nation and hurting American families and businesses, and the devastating effects of ObamaCare are hitting Kentuckians just as hard.
ObamaCare kills Kentucky jobs, is causing employers to slash coverage, and is resulting in skyrocketing premiums for Kentuckians. Despite these costs, Alison Lundergan Grimes supports and defends the healthcare law and ignores the fact that Kentuckians overwhelmingly disapprove of ObamaCare.
Just today, UPS reported that due to ObamaCare, over 15,000 spouses of workers are being dropped from their medical plan.
Rising medical costs, “combined with the costs associated with the Affordable Care Act, have made it increasingly difficult to continue providing the same level of health care benefits to our employees at an affordable cost,” UPS said in a memo to employees.
But news like this didn’t stop Grimes from proudly defending Obama’s healthcare law at the Kentucky State Fair yesterday. To really make her point stick, Grimes charged Kentucky State Fair food as the primary reason seniors need ObamaCare. Kentuckians deserve better.
