Statement from RPK: Political recklessness from the Grimes campaign
FRANKFORT- Republican Party of Kentucky Communications Director, Kelsey Cooper, released the following statement this evening in response to a Grimes campaign press release attacking Senator McConnell’s efforts to find a solution to end the government shutdown and prevent a default:
“Once again, Mitch McConnell, one of the only people in all of Washington who can actually get something done, has put Kentucky above politics in working to find solutions to end the government shutdown and prevent a default. But in an act of true political recklessness by the Grimes campaign, not only does he get attacked for it, he also has his integrity smeared in the process. It’s truly shameful and should disgust all Kentuckians.”
