In case you missed it, Alison Lundergan Grimes has joined Harry Reid and national Democrats in the Senate in deciding to shut down the government rather than delay the implementation of ObamaCare.
And speaking of the implementation of ObamaCare, as we saw yesterday, it’s nowhere near ready for primetime. The launch (much like Grimes’ first attempt at a campaign announcement) was riddled with glitches, errors, crashes, and overall total failure. CNN’s Sanjay Gupta even broadcasted its glitches live from Lexington this morning.

“Showing true partisanship and loyalty to Harry Reid, Barack Obama, and national Democrats, Alison Lundergan Grimes chose to put their agenda of a government shutdown first rather than delay the implementation of ObamaCare, which as we saw yesterday, is definitely not ready for primetime. It’s sad that Grimes has chosen to put her partisan loyalties before the needs of Kentuckians, who are struggling under ObamaCare and its detrimental effects.
“By going along with this reckless disregard for Kentuckians, Alison Lundergan Grimes provided a case study of how she would operate in the Senate by deferring entirely to Harry Reid, President Obama, and the rest of the liberal establishment in Washington, D.C.,” said Kelsey Cooper, Communications Director for the Republican Party of Kentucky.
