Like Obama rewarding his friends with his failed stimulus, House Democrats are playing political games with their budget. House Democrats’ budget brazenly rewards their political allies, while punishing Republicans with punitive, political ploys and unfunded mandates.

In response to House Democrats copying the Obama blueprint, Republican Party of Kentucky Chairman Steve Robertson released the following statement:
“The House Democrats’ budget proves they are not focused on getting Kentuckians back to work and improving our state’s economy. Instead, their budget reveals House Democrats’ misplaced priorities: copy the Obama blueprint of higher taxes, increased government spending, and more debt,” said Steve Robertson, Chair of the Republican Party of Kentucky. “The House Democrats’ budget copies another page from the Obama playbook: their budget rewards political friends and punishes political opponents.”
