ICYMI: Andy Beshear’s crime data doesn’t add up

Louisville Police say “none” of its crime data, touted by Beshear, is accurate

Frankfort, Ky. (October 4, 2023) – A new report from WDRB is raising questions about Andy Beshear’s repeated claims that there was a decline in serious crime in Louisville.

According to WDRB, the report touted by Beshear indicated “that serious crime reported by LMPD dropped by more than 19%. But the numbers LMPD said it submitted would result in a 12% increase.”

“Andy Beshear’s crime data just doesn’t add up,” said RPK spokesman Sean Southard. “Just like Joe Biden, Andy Beshear is constantly peddling falsehoods. Andy continues to downplay crime, while homicides in Louisville have risen nearly 80 percent on his watch. We need to fire Andy Beshear and replace him with Daniel Cameron, who will reduce crime and stand with our law enforcement community.”

Daniel Cameron is the only candidate in the race for governor endorsed by the Fraternal Order of Police, the state’s largest law enforcement organization with nearly 11,000 members.
