Frankfort, Ky. (October 15, 2023) – The Republican Party of Kentucky released the following statement after Republicans flipped the Governor’s mansion from blue to red last night:
“With a Republican victory last night in Louisiana, there is only one Governor’s mansion left for Republicans to flip this year: Kentucky’s,” RPK spokesman Sean Southard. “Last night, a southern state with Republican legislative supermajorities elected a conservative, Trump-endorsed Attorney General who fights Joe Biden, challenged COVID mandates, protected kids from indoctrination, and promised to address crime. Polls didn’t see it coming. Sound familiar? On November 7th, Kentucky voters will say ‘no’ to Joe Biden and Andy Beshear by electing Daniel Cameron as our next governor.”
