Why aren’t students in school today?

Andy Beshear, Jason Glass, and JCPS: all working together to implement Andy’s radical agenda

Frankfort, Ky. (March 29, 2023) – The Republican Party of Kentucky (RPK) issued the following statement in response to video of the state’s largest school system apparently sending students to protest in Frankfort instead of attending classes:

“Why aren’t our kids in school? Isn’t today a school day?” RPK spokesman Sean Southard asked. “Our kids struggle to read and do math, but Andy Beshear and Jason Glass are allowing school districts to send kids to Frankfort to protest Republican legislation – and they are paying for it! Andy Beshear and Jason Glass are so committed to radical gender ideology in our schools that they would rather send students to the capitol to protest instead of their classes. Understand what is going on here: Andy Beshear, Jason Glass, and JCPS appear to be working together to implement this agenda in our schools. Do parents know? Would JCPS fund travel for students to protest Democrat legislation? How is this allowed? Parent and taxpayers deserve answers.”
